In the beginning of 20th Century, Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars migrated to various parts of Tamilnadu including Chennai to venture new business opportunities. The Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars settled at North Chennai contributed a part of their business income to establish a public welfare trust, by the name ‘Madrasil Irukkum Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars Abiviruthi Dharma Fund’, in the year 1922. Our motto is “Community Development is basis for National Development”.
Later in the year 1976. The name was changed as ‘Sennayilulla Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars Abiviruthi Dharma Fund’ - SVHNADF’. From the date of inception to till date, the trust members spent their valuable time and money to serve the under privileged and economically backward people in North Chennai by offering affordable education.
As on date, SVHNADF fulfill the education need of North Chennai people by establishing educational institutions (viz.)
